An interest in naturalized spaces and agricultural planning led to Michael Richards receiving two certifications in permaculture design from Midwest Permaculture in Wisconsin and Verge Permaculture out of Alberta, CA. This information led to a heightened understanding of residential site planning for colder climates.

Michael Richards, founder, holds an A.A.S. in Horticulture with emphasis on residential landscape design, arboriculture, and hardscape construction. The mission of Epic Medium LLC is to merge these disciplines to provide design/build services centered around the genius of place, the balance of form and function; finding solutions to serve our community at large.
